Ever since this became my default JJs location, wait times have been insane, 1.5 hours. Last driver just set my food in front if... the door without even knocking. Update: Called on 1/18/2022 to let the store know my delivery instructions were out of date andto have the driver bring it to reception.. I've never experienced someone so rude on the phone and from what I'm seeing on thereviews, this is a patern. This was an inconvenience to the guy on the phone because the driver was already on the way. I willnever order here again or reccommend it to the guests of my hotel. What a disappointment. I ordered online at 11:53 am. Knowing it's peak delivery time, at 12:20 I called to see where my order... was in the delivery schedule so I had an idea of it's ETA. I stated my last name and address and was told that my order was outfor delivery and that it should only be a few more minutes before it arrived. LIES. I waited another 40 minutes with out adelivery before I had to get on a bus. I asked the front desk clerk to hold on to the delivery once it arrived. 6 hours later Ireturned to the hotel and... IT NEVER ARRIVED. No email stating the order was cancelled, nothing. I'm very disappointed intheir lack of communication. Read more
Definitely the worst jimmy johns I've ever experienced. Never any delivery drivers. Can't get a sandwich half the time. And any... issue with delivery they just brush off on door dash because that's their 3rd party delivery service. The first time it was anuisance the second time it was like okay bad mistake to make twice. The third time I'm done. This is ridiculous. Don't be a'freaky fast delivery service for sandwiches and every time you get an order fail to deliver. If I could give you negative starsI would. Terrible service. Read more
There are plenty of JJ locations nearby, and you should definitely go to one of them instead. Consistently slow service. Not... unusual to sit at the drive through by yourself for more than a few minutes. Today another car in the parking lot honked and theemployee immediately yelled through the speaker to ?give her a minute.? Considering I?d already been waiting at the speaker for5 minutes or more I decided that today was my last time giving this location ?one more chance? Maybe they?re constantlyoverwhelmed with deliveries, but as far as drive through or dine in, every other Jimmy Johns in Des Moines is better. I placed my order and after 1 hr 40 min I called the store to cancel my order. Yhe woman that answered the phone sounded like... she did not care, asked me if a certain address was correct, provided her the correct address and all I got was I'll let thedriver know in a very annoyed tone. Ironically the address she asked me about is a friends house who ordered after my but gottheir order first. Terrible customer service. I have seen District Managers deliver orders for other locations IN DES MOINES siat this I think being short staffed is just the excuse they use. Read more
