Very good! Location not so great with limited parking. A little too salty for my preference but that?s why I have soul food as a... treat than regularly. For me, the chicken and the yams were really on point but the chicken was fried really hard. Everythingelse with the sides was typical I could take it or leave it but not wowed. I was really looking forward to trying the Mac &cheese but it really didnt have any flavor and was over cooked the noodles were more like pieces. Also placed a order for afriend. She got extra sides one being dressing and the cranberry sauce complimentary. I got extra dressing and the cranberrysauce charged .50 which is not a big deal but wondering why I was charged the extra change and she was not? These were twoseparate orders. Also I did not come during a busy time and there was a 30 min wait which was okay with me. I just wanted thequality to be there because it is quite pricey. If you like your food cold and estimated time to be wrong by double. Then this is the place for you. Called in and was told 20... mins. Got there in 25 mins (just to make sure it was ready). Waited till it hit the 45 min mark and asked for an update. Cashiergoes to the back kitchen and 2 mins later has my food. Zero steam and the perch was so deep fried that the fish practically wasgone.
