It was late after a concert in downtown Detroit and we had to find food. This place is a bar but the food is great. I got a... burger and after not eating for a while it tasted real good. Cooked to the medium well like I said and seasoned nice. (Somemight think it's too salty, but after a long concert and not drinking much water, I welcomed it) If you need food in Detroit at11pm, come here. Read more

Its a downtown bar with its own vibe. Cool interior brick. Our waitress was super friendly as was everyone there. The wings and... seasoned fries are so good. I hadn't been there in years. Still really good! Read more

This is definitely a locals' spot in Downtown Detroit. We stopped here for a bite mid-week as it was close to our hotel, the GM... Renaissance Centre, and it was one of the only places open late night. It's a very popular place and was packed inside when wearrived. After about a 20 minute wait, we got a booth. It was a lively atmosphere, with loud music and lots of talking andlaughing. There were even customers dancing by the tables inside. There was bar and booth seating available. It's an olderrestaurant for sure, but seemed to be fairly clean. The wings were promoted on their menu and highly recommended by thewaitress so we opted to try them with a side of Mac and cheese. The wings were huge, juicy meat with a relatively spicy coatingand a delicious crispy skin. I can definitely see why they are award winning. The mac and cheese was very cheesy and gooey, andtasted homemade. The only downside was that it was a tiny portion for $4.25 - definitely not big enough to share. The serverswere also great. At one point, we started getting harassed by a customer at the bar and our server stepped in to intervene andto make sure we were ok. We were very appreciative of that. Overall, great spot for a beer and late night bite. Read more

Everything was much too salty. I felt my blood pressure rising as I was eating. The french fries were really good. The side... salad was terrible. I was very disappointed I was really looking forward to eating at this place because I heard the food wasamazing. I will try the one in Eastpoint. Read more
