I tried TJ's with some friends of mine who have come here for years. I loved the ambiance inside, it is warm and cozy. I gave it... three stars for atmosphere, but I'd only give 2 stars for my meal. I had the corned beef sandwich, it was tough, and honestly itlooked like an old grilled cheese sandwich. Comes with some round corn chips, not at all satisfying for the price. I do have tosay that my friend's meals looked very good and they enjoyed them. They had the Lobster ravioli and the Asian Bowl. Both lookedgreat, but frankly, my meal was worse than a local deli. Good food loved the ambience smelled like home when you walk in loved the apple cobbler.
While I only had the salad personally, the service was top notch and the decor was very nice. Even the food price to portion... size was decent for being in Detroit college town. My only gripe was the iced tea, but even that was good. Just know that italways comes pre-infused with an autumn blend of spices sweetened or unsweetened. Read more
