We absolutely loved our stay. The room was to be expected, the house was stunning with games and cute reading nooks, and the... home made breakfast was incredible! Location was perfect for us! 100% recommend! Read more

So sad to give this review. I realize the property is changing hands due to the COVID slowdown. Saying that, when we called the... hotel to make the reservation there was no communication that almost everything that is outlined on the web page, 2 bars, fullservice restaurant?. are all closed. Google has this as a 5 star hotel? That must be owner rated? So, I feel terrible that theprevious owner/s had to file bankruptcy and the building has changed hands, but some honesty on the property when we calledwould have avoided this google review. This place needs a ton of work, the cottage we stayed in was full of cob webs, a horribleinternet connection, no smoke detector (was missing), an expired extinguisher, and significant unrepaired damage due to previousvisitors with dogs (perhaps wolves). We paid an extra $50 cash for our two small frenchies that were never left unattended. Theypointed out no TV and to bring a device to have something to watch, which was not possible due to the bad connection andterrible cell service (T-Mobile and Verizon), although the cell service is not the hotel?s fault, the bad Wi-Fi is. It?s abeautiful place (main house), but both the buildings and the grounds show neglect. The cottages should be razed. We are big B&Bfans. Things we did not get: functional internet, TV in the cottage (we knew, but the Wi-Fi didn?t work), no deadbolt or chainlock, no ice, no drinks, no happy hour, no tea or juice at breakfast?. There was a coke fridge (we had to plug it in) it didwork once it was plugged in, but it made weird groaning sounds which only added to the creepy ambiance. Stay there forconvenience, but negotiate the price, they still charge as if it is a full service 5 star B&B. Also don?t get me started aboutthe junk yard property adjacent with the junk yard dog????. He/she was friendly, but if you?re not a dog person it may beuncomfortable or terrifying . If you do choose to stay, the bright spot is the amazing Cuban restaurant across th Read more

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here last week! Food was fabulous. There were 4 of us and we each ordered something... different. My surf and turf was just what I wanted. The dining room was immaculate and we'll appointed. A soft spoken man playedhis guitar and sang for us as we made memories to last forever. You won't be disappointed! Read more

Went for Valentines dinner. The steak was delicious. Everything else food wise was mediocre and portions were very small at $45... a person. The entree was literally two shrimp each! Service was great after I called the restaurant to let them know we were inthe lobby waiting to be seated for our reservation. Just prior an employee or possible owner appeared to tell us we were goingthe wrong way but failed to let anyone know we were waiting. Signage is lacking severely. Driveway and parking are sketchy. Whenwe asked about a drink menu we were told that they lost their license. Overall not a horrible experience but i won't eat thereagain. Read more
