Had dinner there recently, and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, the prices were good, the atmosphere was very... welcoming. The restaurant is such a cool idea, and the cross between the sushi and Mexican food is executed perfectly. We hadthe crispy rice, two sushi rolls, and two tacos, and loved everything we got! Above and beyond service and attention! The restaurant is super clean and on top of that, decorated beautifully, it?s very... aesthetically pleasing. Found them on Instagram, initially looked amazing. But let's begin with the service. Came right when they opened (1200, even tho... the door says 1100). They had nothing prepped. The cook was only there and no waitress....she walks in about 20 mins late. Bythis time I had already got my own drink (mind you they charged me $8 for 2 cans of coke zero - no refills) ????. But with nowaitress I had to go grab my drink, go back to ask for ice. Bring it to my table. My food, was ok...videos/pictures on Instagrammake them look better. But I go grab my own plate and bring it to my table. Food is not coming out at the same time, so my wifegets hers first, then mine 5 mins later, by this point the waitress finally decides to show up. She doesn't wash her hands,clocks in on the monitor, and when I get up to grab my second plate...she runs to grab it and bring it to my table. Like oh wow,thanks lady, you shouldn't have ???? At the end...I get the check, and they charge me 18% gratuity....for what? The one plateshe brought me...are you kidding me?!?? And she automatically added it to the bill. As if we were a huge party, it was only mywife and I. At the end, not impressed. Horrible customer service, my tacos were ok, my wife's plate was not good and had noflavor. I will not be coming here again and will tell others not to as well. Fix your service...one way...show up on time anddon't charge me gratuity when you didn't do anything...???? Read more
