I got a birthday cake06/25/22 that costs 30.00, this cake was so nasty, we were unable to eat it, the icing was the best part of... the cake. The bread tasty and look as if they had been cooked weeks ago and put in the freezer. The week of 07/09/22, my fatherpurchased a butternut cake and it was old as well. I don't think they are aware they can give people food poisoning andsalmonella bacteria from eating old good. We have been going to Rolen?s for as long as I can remember! Always use their petit fors for Baby showers, birthdays etc. I sent... an email with a picture of a cake, then called and spoke to the decorator (I only wanted the bottom tier) and was toldABSOLUTELY she could make this cake to go along with the petit fors I ordered for a birthday. I get there to pick it up and thisis what I was given. I was SHOCKED! I asked if it could be fixed and the response ?well I can make it navy but you won?t likethat either!? Absolutely ZERO customer service! BEWARE of special orders! No wonder they want you to pay in advance! Left mescrambling trying to have another cake made for my daughter?s birthday! That will be my last visit to Rolen?s. I know they havenew staff, not sure if management is the same? but they have definitely gone down hill! All round great bakery to visit. Have always been accommodating to requests provided time allowed. They have the best petition... fours in Dothan Alabama. You owe it to yourself to try Rolens at least once. Read more
Rolen's Bakery is still the best place to buy pastries. Although the bakery doesn't make certain pastries, due to supply... problems. Please call them first before you buy to make sure they have it. Re: Birthday cakes or cakes in general. Highlyrecommended! Read more
