This was by far the best place to eat in Trinity county. The waitress was welcoming and the chef amazing. You need to call... ahead for a reservation but the Indian creek lodge had a guest fire pit so we took a walk down. I would recommend this cafe. Read more
Love the food. Besides the small dinning area, there's not much to complain about....except for that dreadlocks server... chick...I've never seen someone who hates their job as much as that lady. Comes up with a notepad and says nothing to me whenshe felt like we were ready to order " any questions I can answer for you?" Would have been that easy but that seemed toodifficult for her. She just stood awkwardly waiting for us to order..... Didnt pick up our check when I paid just left it and wewalked out which we still wanted to thank her and say goodbye , What if i didnt pay lol? I didn't even want to leave that big oftip but didn't feel like waiting another 20 minutes for my change. She dissappeared. Also when you have a special with mashedpotatoes..serve that..and if your out like you said you were ask if there's anything else I'd like and apologize, don't go backto the kitchen with a poor attitude, and miraculously my potatoes magically appeared after I said something. I live in Trinity County. I drive my 20 miles to go to this place when i want a flawless , chef cooked meal . I have never been... disappointed .....ever . They do a med. rare duck that blows my socks off. ( never quit serving duck ! ) Its not your bigcity place but the staff has always been attentive and wanting to be sure that you have all that they have to bring......and they do ! They cook super good food. ! You wont be sorry. Im a local but i dont know any of these people personally. Ijust know that when i want to take my wife out for GOOD FOOD ......i take her to Indian Creek. We are going there tonight ....seriously. Read more
