I have been eating here for a while but today was my last day! I will make my way elsewhere! Too much of inconsistencies!
Great food, fav Carribean stop. Food always on point. For some reason last visit (Labor Day) wasn't too pleasant. As I was... unable to speak, the female server wasn't pleasant at all. She appeared to be frustrated with preparing my food. I can see theway she handled my 2 orders & went as far as saying, "you can't talk" in such a sarcastic way. Very impatient & short-tempered.There were 2 serving at the time, 1 was more thinner & pleasant. The other one was s/w unpleasant & heavier in size. I had asubstantial amt of tip for her, but after that experience I kept it. All the other servers has always been nice & kind. I prayshe does not have any future kids or family members that are mute. I gave up on this location years ago and recently decided to give them another shot. The jerk chicken was a huge disappointment-... no flavor whatsoever and the curry goat was so salty I'm going to have to recook it with water to dilute it. HOW have theysurvived this long with the same "chef"? This is not how Jamaican food is supposed to be and I hope the owner wakes up beforeit's too late. Read more
On 2 separate occasions I visited Golden Krust in Douglasville and the customer service was to be compared to the service of... most McDonalds (we know how that is). Even though their food is pretty good, I don't have the best impression of thisestablishment. On the first time visiting I was placing an order over the phone and the worker who took my order was very rude.I brushed that experience off, but then I went there today and the workers were being very loud and 'ratchet' behind thecounter. Why in the world would you want customers observing this type of behavior while they are preparing your food? It wasdefinitely not a professional look. If they care about their image, the management there would give their workers bettercustomer service training or hire people with better service and behavioral skills to represent their company.
