We went for a family breakfast and our waitress was great, awesome personality and on top of service! The food portions are... HUGE! This place is still here, while I've been gone 20y! Their signature are these delicious little cinnamon-sugar donuts, warm &... fresh! Amazing! The pork sausage seems homemade, and the patties seem like they were 3-4oz each before they were cooked; thickpatties give you the nice crusting on them while being perfectly cooked in the center. The staff was friendly, and great servicedespite a little lunch crowd when I was there. I wasn't terribly impressed with the bacon & eggs; while flavorful, they were abit overdone, despite ordering soft-scrambled. The grits seemed...weird. This place has been around for a long time and the food quality is still very good. Generous portions at reasonable prices, they... serve you free delicious little donuts while you wait for your meal. They serve breakfast and lunch only, no dinner. The staffis friendly, helpful, they always keep your glass of water and coffee cup full. The red potatoes with green onion shallots theyuse instead of hash browns are a must with your breakfast. Don't forget to read some of the frames they have on the walls, theyare hilarious. Update 04/09/2022 Be aware that this restaurant charges 3% for using a credit card instead of cash.
