If this place had negative stars i would put that been going to wilsons since a kid amazing atmosphere and food decided to take... the family wish i could rewind time because nothing tasted how it did many years ago nearly sent all food back got stuff wedidnt even order the cat fish hadnt been cleaned steak was undercooked ended up not getting it and sent it back then tried tosend dirty fish back and the owner says rudely if you dont pay for it the server will definitely not techniques used as a bossor owner as a company this place really lacked alot Read more

It's been awhile since I ate here and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I got mega sick a few hours after I ate. This... lasted throughout the night and into this early morning. What caused my sickness? Not being a doctor, I can only assume it wasthe cole slaw. It was very wet as you can see in the photos and not very cold. I had a few bites and didn't eat anymore. Forthat reason I gave it a 2 stars. It could also have been the liquid tarter sauce. I couldn't believe how it poured out of thecontainer. I put some by itself on a plate so you can see it. Again, I try everything. It was nasty and once again not cold forsomething that should have been. It was strange because they brought the cocktail sauce in a little cup but the tarter in asqueeze bottle. It should have been the other way around considering the cocktail did NOT have to be cold but the mayo basedtarter, did. The bean soup was tasty as I remembered. Once you have had it you go there for it :) The fish was cooked so darngood I want the recipe myself. The hushpuppies were the perfect size, but dry on the inside and greasy on the outside. Theywere also fried too dark for me. Frog legs, French fries, tore up and split shrimp was odd but all that tasted as itshould. BE AWARE: I asked if I could sub a baked potato for the fries, she said yes then charged me over $3 for the BP. And no,she did not tell me there was an upcharge for the potato. I had originally given one star since I got so sick. I added anotherone for the other food and another important element. The owner. This guy was very polite. He also bussed the tables and greetedguest. I was so taken about positively by him that I did not want to give just one star. Now, please note that they are closingnext week and remodeling. This place don't even deserve one star. We had a big group waited 15 minutes to get drinks. Waited 45 minutes to get food. One... person in our party did not get food until everyone else was done.
