Wonderful! First time here. There were four of us and everything from cocktails at that bar to dinner at the table was great!
My 11yo son and I are 2 weeks into a dairy and gluten free diet for health reasons and this was our first time eating out.... Nicole and Colleen were extremely helpful, patient, and kind in helping us order and come up with options! My son was so happyto learn about baked naked wings! We should have left when the sludge ice tea arrived. I am not kidding. It was sludge! It was so scary, neither one of us could... even screw up our courage to taste it. How can a restaurant in the north woods ruin walleye!? Maybe if it sat in a freezer forweeks? It was dry, covered in dill, no lemon or tartar?Disgusting! And they charge $25 for it! I cannot even describe the awfulsandwich my poor husband ordered. I guess when you don?t have many choices in restaurants, this might be acceptable to some. Butsludge iced tea? Where else in the world can you go from a successful hunt to a fine dining experience in one hour? The Wisconsin northwoods is... where! My girlfriend and I tried Cedar Lodge for the first time after hunting hours and were completely impressed. We startedwith the Shrimp Vannamei. We shared a Filet and Scallops. All of the food was excellent! The salad bar is compact, but has manyoptions. Lastly, the Old Fashioned's are as good as any I have ever tried. We will definitely be returning to Cedar Lodge.
