The restaurant is adorable. In a quaint building with a tin tile ceiling and an amazing fireplace, the atmosphere is fantastic.... The service was great. The food was okay, but definitely not the best we've had. The pizza was probably the worst with a drycrust. The manicotti was good, but we didn't care a lot for the sauce. The cannelloni was probably the best item ordered in ourparty and was well received. The salad was sub-par and the breadsticks were store bought and dry. Read more
I adore this gem of a restaurant. The food is exquisite and service is excellent. I ordered a nonalcoholic beverage not on the... menu - they learned the ingredients and make it for me now every time and I never had to repeat myself. They accommodate everymodification request, and the prices are "gorgeous" to quote my late Aunt Shirley. I feel like part of the extended family. Highly recommend for authentic Italian cuisine. Food was good and the waitress was quick and helpful. However, I arrived about 5-10 minutes after they opened and NOBODY was at... the front counter or anywhere in the dining area. I stood around purposely jingling my keys and even called out "hello" to tryto attract someone's attention. Finally a woman came around the corner and when I asked if they were open she said she had tocheck in the back...again this is after the posted opening time. Excellent food and value. Walked in at precisely the right time and lucked into one of the best seats in the house, the booths... under the soffit. The pizza is legendary, otherwise be sure to arrive early enough for the lasagna. Read more
