This place was awesome.. We ordered 3 different Dosas. All were delicious. We also had different curry and masalas. ... Everything tasted incredibly good. Sevice was good. Can't wait visit here again. Read more
I went with my family and order goat Biryani and the biryani was stinky and sour taste. After taking two three bites we complain... and they bring another biryani, which was not stinky and sour. Great place food is fresh and tastes amazing. The people were very kind and helpful. Definitely coming back. My husband had the... lamb kabob and I had the chicken. They were both tasty. The portions are generous and everything was so so fresh. Great place tohave dinner or take out. Read more
==== Aug 2022 review ==== Got the take out for 3rd time. Ordered masala and cheese dosa. Obviously dosa is best eaten freshly... made so not recommended for takeout since it gets very soft and feels soggy - certainly outside restaurant's control given howhumid it gets for this area. The only thing is that the chutney sauces 'seem' smaller for takeout. The best dishes to orderfor take out are the curries and appetizers. ==== 2020 review ==== This place makes fresh proper dosas. And menu fill optionsfor dosas are many and each dosa comes with 3 sauces that frankly, I have not seen at most other Indian establishments I've beento (awesome plus here). And the lamb and goat curry ....... is un-apologetically fresh. Kinda feels like they use fresh herbsand spices. Oh wait, it located next to an Indian market that has fresh herbs and spices. And mild = spicy, which is how itshould be. I didn't grow up eating dosas but this is literally a repeat place. I am now eating more at this place than fastfood chain restaurants. So in conclusion: Dosa Grill makes fresh proper dosas well (and also lamb & goat curry really welltoo). Enough said. Very very disappointed with the staff. I understand very well that every restaurant is short staff that makes service very slow.... When I visited, there were only 2 customers who ordered ready made food like Samosa. I waited over half an hour and asked waiter2 times how long it will take. He says he will check and no update or response. Its not about the short staff but the way theytreat dine in customer is pathetic. I am never going to visit this restaurent again. I asked the staff if I can speak to manager/ owner and their respose was that they dont have contact information for the manager / owner. Read more
