This place is a gem. A small menu of breakfast items and a few lunch items. And what they serve is the best of what it is. I... ordered the taco omelette and a pancake. The eggs were the fluffiest eggs I'd ever had and the pancake was huge. Hashbrowns wereexcellent. Incredibly friendly staff. Two people can sit and have coffee and breakfast for $20. You have to check it out. Inresponse to all the children's art and community involvement around the restaurant, the owner told me, "This is not myrestaurant; this is my customer's restaurant." The owner is one of the friendliest, nicest restaurant owners around. She's efficient, helpful and courteous. The food there is... amazing. I love the hash browns. The pancakes are done perfectly. I've tried many things on the menu and been happy with all ofthem. I would recommend the Sunshine Café in Duluth to anyone who's hungry. I am SO happy the Sunshine Cafe weathered the stormof covid and is still open for business. I love this restaurant and I love the owner, she's such an awesome person.
