When another hotel canceled my online booking and refused to allow me to pay cash for my room, Days Inn saved us. We had arrived... at nearly midnight for a medical appointment the next day. My disabled mom, myself and 12 year old child would have been forcedto sleep in my van 4 hours from home had the worker not been so helpful and compassionate. I cannot thank him enough. I joinedtheir rewards program and will be booking future stays here. The decor is pleasant, comfortable and cozy. We have a safe, warmplace to sleep for the night. That is all that mattered to me- my little family being safe. The other hotel told me no hotel inDuluth takes cash and implied I was less or something that I didn't have a credit card to charge the room to. Read more
Terrible night. Pillows were firm and I woke up with a knot in my neck. But going back a moment, the moment I pulled back the... sheets I saw THIS (see photo of bed). Yes, that?s a period stain. There was a period stain on my ?new? sheets. I get it. Blooddoesn?t come out easily, but if someone has an accident like this, I?d expect maybe you?d throw the sheets away. Disgusting. Also, the breakfast buffet was a long walk away. A long, cold walk up two flights of stairs (we were on level two right belowmain lobby) then down a long hallway of more rooms, and finally back down a flight of stairs. Read more
We really enjoyed our time in the park. It's a very family friendly atmosphere, well staffed, and has a big park feel without... the big resort prices. The room was as we expected and suited our needs well. We're planning another visit! Read more
Best hotel in Duluth for family. Great water park. Clean. Has all you can eat pancakes for breakfast. Has some really good deals... on rooms sometimes. Read more
Most hotels in Duluth are overpriced, this one particularly so...to be fair, they're in a market where they're able to drive up... costs. Rooms could use a serious update/makeover. The location is 'decent', but not really walking distance to much else (otherthan the lake and the lake-walk, but if you're hoping to walk to canal-park or downtown...know that you're looking at a bit of ahike (and that's coming from someone who walks 1.5 miles to and from work daily). I can see how if you had kids, that the builtin water-park could make this place worth-it...otherwise, your $ is better spent elsewhere (there's a Day's-Inn practicallyacross the street, that's a fraction of the price, and whose rooms are similar).
