This was a delightful place. We didn't realize it was at the country club, but that didn't matter, they all made us feel so welcomed. The food was refreshingly different and delicious. I would definitely eat here again
Came at 1:30. Sat quickly and service was good. Ordered the fried mushrooms to start. They were very watery. We ended up cutting them open to drain them before eating, which only made them slightly better. Ordered the Shrimp and Grits. Served with a fork instead of spoon. Menu states it also comes with Anduiolle sausage. I would call it more of a garnish (only what you see in the pictures - one slice cut up into very small pieces, roughly 5). Gouda overpowered the dish making it bland and very heavy. Not enough Cajun spices to bring back any of the flavor you would expect from this dish. Shrimp was cooked well. It was overall, bland. Husband ordered the meatloaf with roasted potatoes and French green beans. Stated it was okay. Very salty. Would not order again. Coors beers were cold. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed. Really hoped for dishes well cooked with good flavor. Did not opt for dessert. Meal was $50, not including tip.
I ordered the steak fingers to go with peppered gravy, skillet potatoes, and paid extra for a side of okra. The gravy didn't have any pepper in it. The steak fingers, okra, and gravy were all flavorless. The potatoes were to salty and underdone. The sides were about a tablespoon of each. The meal was overpriced for the portion size. Wouldn't have minded the portion size if it actually had any flavor.
Very disappointed . Wouldn't waist time or money . Over priced for the quality of the food. We were the only customers and never got our glasses refilled best bet just stay away go to Braums get a better burger
Joe at Wishbone is fantastic. We have had him as a server twice and he always goes above and beyond he tells us about specials and helps modify our food to our liking every time we come we will continue to ask for his great service and always the food is amazing
The food was just okay in my opinion. Not bad but nothing to write home about either. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken fry was pretty good. It's the sides I wasn't happy with. Especially the green beans? No flavor at all and super dry and over cooked! Mashed potatoes were super creamy with a good flavor. My daughter enjoyed her buffalo chicken mac n cheese. Another person in our party raved about the bacon wrapped salmon! I would have given 4 stars but we had to keep asking for drink refills and the waitress brought the wrong sides to our table.
Great views of the golf coarse. Nice big windows. Excellent soups. Nice attentive staff. Nice pricing. Atmosphere is big and open. Nice bathrooms with couch for nursing moms.
Service was great and the place was beautiful. ? Thennn the food came out.. I ordered the Seafood Plate? I believe that's what it was called (?). It was good, don't get me wrong! I just felt like for what I paid for ($13) and what I got... was definitely not worth it. Other than that, it was nice.
