MODERN WAY OF BEGGING I went to this restaurant to have a nice lunch. One staff guy from mainland greeted me and filled the... meal box with the food items that I have asked for. Now came the most awkward and disgusting scene at the billing section. Thesame guy came to the billing counter and told me the billed amount. Along with he asked me to donate $1 saying the money isgoing to some XYZ charity. I scratched my head. But, he seems to be resilient and never stopped his begging. He just stare at mewith a ugly intimidating laugh, "its just one dollar". The way he told was a kind of insultation and humiliation that heimplicitly trying to tell us that "Are you not even have or willing to donate one dollar". Oh, man, the way he begged for onedollar was disgusting. Its a gentle way of robbing our money. He not only stopped with me. He begged everyone for one dollar andteased and cornered them psychologically, forcing them to donate. We need to think. It's one dollar for us. But, its 500$ if herob from 500 customers. Small portions, always out of stuff. Today was told 10 minutes for super greens to turn around and watch them make online orders... for 10 minutes to turn around and still be told 10 mins. Never really eat takeout but the kids wanted Panda Express. Spent $45 on Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Honey Sesame Chicken and Chow... Mein. When picking up my order & checking it out one of the employees came back from around the corner hovering over me as if tosay "Everything's good now get out!!" Made me very uncomfortable so I left. Everything had an extreme amount of veggies & theChow Mein had more veggies than noodles, very disappointed. Honey Sesame was perfect but Grilled Teriyaki was dry & lackedTeriyaki sauce & seasoning. Go to another location if you can. You do not get your money's worth. Paid $22 for 2 plates and they filled more than half my... plates with veggies and barely gave me protein. When i asked for a fair share, they FOUGHT me on it! I've been to manylocations and they're never this stingy with the food. You'd think they get paid by how much is left over at the end of thenight. Management must be trying to skimp due to Covid and inflation just like everyone else down here. What they don'tunderstand is the delicate balance of customer service and turning a profit.
