My hubby had the sliders. He tried the sausage, sliced brisket & chopped brisket. The sliced brisket was my favorite. It was so... tender & juicy, the smoked flavor was abundant. I had the meatloaf, the portion was generous to say the least. It was moist,tender & smokey. The homemade mashed potatoes were a plus but the fried okra stole the show, that was made with love. We were out running errands and stopped for lunch. They had the best brisket I have had in a long time. Our server was very nice... and recommended the spicy green beans which were so good! Its a very nice place and we were served quickly. Read more
We arrived around 1:00 on a Sunday and found out that the special and 2 other items were already sold out. There were only about... 3 clean table tops in the restaurant. 2 very young servers were quite busy trying to take and fulfill orders PLUS bus thetables. The front door sticks so badly that several customers couldn't even open it to leave and some needed actual assistanceto get it open, which is never a customer friendly experience whether coming or going. If the owners would hire a person to fixthe door, and someone else to bus tables, and the cook prepares more of the daily specials , this place would be very charmingand I would visit again. Just by luck was in Durant on my 30th anniversary. Wife wanted BBQ. We were so lucky to land here. Everything was perfect. Had... this young waitress that was just over the top. Tipped her heavily thought her face was going to crack, she was smiling so big.Main street BBQ made it a memorable anniversary dinner.
