Tasso is a super yummy sandwich lunch place. I usually get the ham sandwich with Gruyere cheese. My son always gets the turkey... sandwich. Besides that, the sandwich sides are unique? A fresh green salad and a cutie. The owner is usually there and thebusiness is super generous with our local schools. Definitely go give them a try! Read more
My mom and her friend went to eat lunch there last week. They were on a nice girls get -a-way, day and decided to stop for... lunch. They ordered their two bagged lunches, keep in mind the place was vacant. My mom grabbed the bag assuming it held bothsandwiches. Upon sitting down she realized they were missing a whole bagged lunch. So my mom went in to inform them. Theywhipped up a bagged lunch with little to no customer service. Then my mom realized there were missing items from the baggedlunch. She went again to inform them. They tossed her a cookie and said "sorry". Then when my mom went to pay, a screen came upregarding the tip. There were only 3 options without a skip button. So she was forced to tip $3.5 in order to finish hertransaction. They didn't understand why they had to pay a tip, when the staff didn't do anything. They didn't bring anythingback to them that was missing and has no empathy. They both stated they will never go there again. They said the food was basicand they are light on the meat. They said the staff was friendly, but honestly, when they are the only customers there and theyclearly ordered two bagged lunches, with the outcome of one... come in people. Another statement was made regarding the staff.They said the staff was just "messing around" with absolutely no professional ethic. Read more
The staff were friendly, and the sandwich and the sandwiches and salad were great. So many places rely on a load of sauce to... make their sandwiches taste good, but Tasso's sandwiches relied on quality ingredients and balance. The meal felt light on thestomach but was somehow still very satisfying. The price point is a bit high for us for lunch, and they were out of cookies forour sac lunch (my kid would've loved it), but at this quality of service and product, I'd be happy to come again and bringfriends along too. 4+ stars. Tasso is a neat little sandwich shop with a nice patio to enjoy your lunch. The addition of a small side of greens... (not posted on the menu that I saw anyway) was a welcome touch to round out the meal. Quality of ingredients is top-notch,which naturally makes for a better meal. I just saw the reviews mentioning lemonade and popcorn. Maybe I missed it but I'm notsure they offer it anymore. I am also appreciative of the fact that they don't gouge and charge $3 for a bottle of water (itwas 40¢ at the time of this writing). I will be back, probably with company. Read more
