My husband and I absolutely love this place. The bar, great drinks and fantastic service. We have never had the opportunity to... eat at the restaurant. Looking forward to it though. The view, amazing. The rooms, clean, modern and comfy. It is very clearsomeone cares about this place. It is small and quaint with great little personal touches. We have been in all seasons and loveit every time.....I feel a road trip coming on :) Read more

Location on Lake Superior,, clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff. However, more storage space in bathroom for toiletries... would be nice. Food was good but not great, They can not be reached by phone, email only which makes making reservations tough. We did enjoy our stay. Read more

Had a wonderful stay here while skiing at Mt Bohemia! Decor was very nice, bed was very, very comfortable, French press coffee... was a nice touch. You can order breakfast that is delivered to your room, which was huge even though we split one for the two ofus. Will definitely stay here again! Restaurant is great with tasty food and generously-sized well-priced cocktails. Read more

Pleasant surprise on the Keweenaw. The rooms are modest, but modernized and clean. A little small, but cozy. Hard floors, no... carpet. Carpet in these little hotels is typically a biohazard anyway. There is a FANTASTIC restaurant with some great moderntakes on old classics. Would stay again. It's RIGHT on the water...it crashes on the deck. Read more

The food and drinks offered at Fitzgerald's, the restaurant at the inn, were excellent! Customer service was kind, polite and... informative for checking in / taking our restaurant order. We had the Sherpard's pie (mashed potatoes, smoked meats, mixedvegetables), brussels sprouts salad, mac & cheese to share, chocolate bourbon pecan pie, vanilla bean cheesecake, Rodenbach sourbeer, and margarita! Entree portions were on the smaller end for American food, but it was very filling and worth every penny.Everything was fantastic, elevated home-cooking style food! COVID-19 season, so there were picnic benches in front of the inn,by the inn and on the deck for eating (~6 picnic benches). The inn itself was very quaint, homey, and cute!! Very kept up, itlooks like the just redid the decking and stairs. Once I opened the door to our room, I was pleasantly surprised by the whiteand wood wall paneling coupled with the laminate floors. Plus with the view of Lake Superior, it really felt like a vacation. Ican hear the waves crash now as I type this review. Other details, for those of us that like extra info: We came in late, rightafter 7PM, so they were out of peach wild sour beer and rib slabs. One bed in the room had a soft mattress and the other wasfirm, so we decided to sleep on the softer bed. The room comes with a fridge and TV. The heating system works very well, andthere's also a fan in the room. One lightbulb out of the 3 on the ceiling was burnt out so lighting is kind of dim at night. Assomeone mentioned in another review, they only have a teeny container of shampoo/conditioner combo plus two teeny facial soaps,so you should bring your own soap / toiletries if you can remember. Towels look nice and white (100% cotton). Very clean and Iam definitely coming back. Overall 10/10! Thank you! Read more
