Had a great early Tuesday afternoon on the Eagle River Chain at Braywood Lodge! Great food, drinks and service! Sophie took... great care of us ! Awesome they were open with full service. ???????????? Read more
Arrived by boat at 1:15 hoping to have missed the lunch rush. Place was busy but not so much that we couldn't get a table. ... Took more than 15 minutes before we got our lunch order in. Another table next to us got waited on before us even though theywere seated after us. 45 minutes later and our order still hadn't come and the same table had eaten and left. While we waitedfor our food we were told that the kitchen was backed up an hour to an hour and a half. If they would have told us this when wecame in that would have helped. More communication is always better. Our order was messed up when it finally came but none inthe party wanted to say anything for fear of never getting out of there. Food was ok but definitely not worth that kind ofwait. It appeared that the bartender was also the server inside. Not good. Lastly, the only shining part was they had a lotof young girls running around filling water, bussing tables, and asking if everything was alright. Unfortunately they couldn'tdo anything to speed up the order. If only they could have put one or two of them in the kitchen... I'd suggest asking howlong will it take to get your food. Went there yesterday, first time since new owners took over. Great place to boat to for lunch as usually there is enough boat... parking. We seated ourself outside on the upper deck as soon as we arrived about 1:30. Waitress was at our table right away andtook our drink and food order. Everything was perfect till the food arrived. Hamburgers were so over cooked they looked andtasted like hockey pucks, not a drop of juice or moisture left in them. French fries were ice cold. Wife complained about thatand they brought her more but they were cold too and tasted like they came out of a warmer several hours ago. Other person hadmini taco's but tasted like they were frozen ones that were just warmed up. So overall good service, good drinks, niceatmosphere, and poor poor food. Read more
