I don?t care anymore , I?m going to say it! BEST BREAKFAST PLACE IN CARPENTERSVILLE! It?s been a very long time since I?ve been... excited and completely SATISFIED with breakfast. I can say without a doubt that the Louisiana Skillet brings an amazingexperience to your tastebuds and every bite was a firework of an explosion in your mouth full of taste. As a brunch enthusiast I have to say the menu here is very good. This was my first visit here so I had to try what is in the... name of the restaurant, Benedicts. I tried the classic Benedict and it was delicious and I heavily recommend the house potatoesfor the side. The coffee was sub-par but considering it was $3 for bottomless I guess it?s a good deal. My Benedict cost $10before tax. My friend tried one of their signature drinks and liked it a lot. The atmosphere is very old and almost rustic,which not really my favorite. The wait time on a Sunday was only 20 minutes and our food was ready within 10 minutes ofordering. The staff was very respectful and nice. I think some remodeling and renovation within the interior would make this a 5out of 5 star place for me. Also I?d like to note that there isn?t enough parking right by the restaurant at the time of myvisit and I had to park across the street. (Not a bid deal for me, but could be for some people). This place is a hidden gem. If you have never been here you should come. The food is amazing. I try something new every time and... every time I'm amazed. The staff have always been great. From the time you walk in the door you're greeted. It feels like home.The decor is great, we love it. The servers are always attentive and pleasant. The food comes out fast.
