Friendly people. Just wish they were open later then 8pm.. There's not many places to shop at in East Durham even tho Dollar... General Is Open Till 10pm which is wonderful if you need gas & only have cash you have to go all the way to Cairo. So kindasucks. Read more
I was there for the festival weekend. They mark up items for that weekend. This was 4.23.
The people behind the counter were nice. The roast beef sandwich was almost inedible. Roast beef looked old like it was sitting... out for a day dry and leather in appearance with that dark red color on parts of it. I asked for no lettuce and there waslettuce on it still. I split the sub with my father and right after eating just some of the sandwiche we both felt sick to ourstomach. That was after I pulled apart most of the meat because it was bad.waste of my money and food I wouldn't recommend thisplace for a fresh sandwich. Read more
It has a counter to serve a simple short-order menu. The breakfast sandwich was good. The coffee was great. The service was... prompt and friendly. You can eat outside in the picnic tables that are under a cover, or in your car (the late is spacious). Italso has fuel pumps: gas on one side; diesel on the other. It's a great place to make a pitstop (both bathrooms were fairlyclean). The map service should also list it as a gas station, though it's more than that.
