The fruit and vegetable wines tend to be on the sweeter side. The tasting room is small and connects to a green house with... flowers and flower baskets. In the tasting room you will also find various jams and sauces from the farm. All the people werekind and helpful. Wine Review: My wife really liked the rhubarb wine. Most rhubarb wines (mine included) are pink in color. Not Staehly's. Their rhubarb was greener, sweet, with a sativa or indica aroma and taste. It was interesting, but notoff-putting. There are a number of fruit wines, most of which are a little on sweet side, even if they claimed the wine wasdry. Alcohol level was around 10% for these wines. As a home wine maker, I typically aim for dry wines. If I want to sweetingthe wine, I add about 5 ml of a Moscato wine to give it the aromas and sweetness while keeping the wine dry. Read more
