I was recently in New Haven, where I was born, for a family get together. My Aunt and cousin asked me where I wanted to eat, and... there wasn't a moment of hesitation. Me and my wife were down from Boston, and she'd never had New Haven pizza, which is thebest in the world. Minervini's was the only.place I wanted to go. It was just as delicious and amazing as it was when Nate madethe pies for me and my Grandma and grandpa 20+ years ago. I would make the over 100 mile trip just for their pie. So damnedgood. Read more
For all your Sally and Pepe customers! Minervini?s is seriously on top of the New Haven County when it comes to their pies!... Everyone can complain about little things like a burnt crust and that?s what I get when I went to Sally?s! Nate doesn?t justmake a great pizza but his Calzones are amazing. Plenty of parking with not a long wait makes the experience a lot easier thengoing to a place where the owners are long gone! I found no flavor in what I order, bacon pizza, fried calamari and fried shrimp. Garlic bread with mozzarella was ok. On the... good side the place was clean and my waitress was polite and attentive. Read more
