First time at MadChef last week and it was awesome. It is a very unassuming building from the outside, but has an awesome... atmosphere on the inside. By 5pm on Friday it was packed with people having to wait for seating. The beer tasted great and thefood was equally as great. My buddies got the pomme frites that come with 3 different dipping sauces, the chicken sandwich, anda chicken and potato dish. I am kicking myself for not getting photos of them, but did get one of the marshmallow lava cake.10/10 dessert that had the consistency of sticky toffee pudding if you?ve ever had it. It does heavily lean on the marshmallowtasting side, but no complaints here. Highly recommend! Read more
My husband and I came here for lunch. I got the Honey Sriracha Chicken Mac and Cheese, and a Johnnie Doe. I was concerned that... it was a small bowl. It was just the right size. It was delicious!! Place is much bigger than I expected. I sat outside on my recent visit. This was my first time here.. the menu is filled with a... lot of intriguing dishes. I got the spicy chicken park sandwich and shared a large fry. We got 3 sauces but didn?t care for 2 ofthem and had trouble trying to get two more. Was told they would charge us for them.. that wasn?t going through fly.. after wesat down, my chicken sandwich came out before anything. It was fast but I would prefer to have my appetizers first or both atthe same time. The chicken sandwich was good. The atmosphere was cool. I would also prefer to have a server. One of my favorite spots for beer and food! They always have a great selection of beer to choose from and I love their food.... Sometimes it's hard to decide what to order because Mad Chef has so many great options. My go-to app though is the french frieswith their mac daddy sauce. Tried out the Mad Chef a couple weeks back for the first time with a buddy. We like checking out local breweries and trying the... different beers and food. The beer and food were good and had no negative comments about them. I feel like the place overallmissed the mark or as a consumer I wasn?t informed enough of how the place operates. We got there and had a wait the place waspacked, which for me is fine tells me that it?s an in demand type of place for people to go to. So we wait like 30 minutes andare seated outside and were told about scanning the QR code for the menu. We check it out the menus for food and drinks and sitand chat for a little. It dawns on us we have been sitting there for a little while and had not been asked about drinks or food.We see people getting food dropped off at their tables and aren?t sure what?s going on. So my buddy takes a walk around and seethat you have to go to the register to order all your stuff. We went up ordered our food and drinks. Sitting there waiting onour food a waiter comes and asks for last calls on food. So we let him know we are still waiting on our order. Our food comesand we get another beer and like I said earlier no complaints, nachos were awesome and a nice size. The sandwiches both werereally tasty. To wrap up the night I went to go to the bathroom and found that they have only two of them available tocustomers or I missed others. Having to wait for a bathroom isn?t the worst thing but with a place that size I would expectmore. All in all I would and will try it again and update my review off the next time! Read more
