We used to always eat there, But haven?t been here since before Covid. I have to say I was severely disappointed. First the... portion size has gone down. The shrimp was over cooked so much it made it dry and tasteless. Another persons filet was smalland overcooked. While the waiters were very friendly and helpful, our cook barely put on a show and seemed disinterested. He didn?t offer any sauces and we each had to ask for mustard sauce. The sauce looked more like mustard color water and barelyhad a taste. It was useless using it. Going by other reviews they add water to their sauces. Probably won?t be back for along time, if ever. So I read the reviews before going? the negative reviews seem to be issues that either could have been resolved if they spoke to... someone, or they were just a complete misunderstanding. With that being said we decided to try it. We brought my toddler withus, the staff was great. Super nice and even treated my child like she ran the show. There were many other children there, allof which were happy and the staff seemed to be treating them the same. The place is clean. The food was great! I think peopleforget that we aren?t ordering from a steakhouse and that hibachi is always cooked a little more well then what you order. Chicken was mediocre at best and didn?t seem cooked enough to be tender. Very dry and/or frozen. Waiter didn?t seem to care when... told about the food. Waiter also forgot our requests two times over. Even brought out the wrong soup for all of us. Sushi wasgood. Read more

Mahzu was a great place to dine for our group of 10. The place is very spacious & clean.The food was like in any other hibachi... restaurants in the US. But Wayan, our hibachi chef made our dining experience one, a wonderful one. He was a pro not only withhis culinary skills but his interaction with the fellow guests was worth 5 stars ??.
