The owner of the restaurant has had other restaurants which were absolutely fabulous especially restaurant Columbia which closed... a while ago and then he had Bannings and both were excellent, this is a basic breakfast restaurant quality is good I would goback again. I give it a 3 star because it is basic breakfast unlike his fancier restaurants. Read more

The absolute BEST PORK ROLL EGG & CHEESE on a KAISER ROLL SANDWICHES that I have ever had -- & I should know as I am a born &... bred Jersey girl. So good we went back the next day & got them again. Cash only, but so worth it. It is tucked away off themain street, but go for the hunt & find it -- you won't be sorry. Simple breakfast place but each thing you get is outstanding! The eggs are cooked right. There are caramelized edges from hot... fat/butter on the griddle. The toast is made with excellent bread baked on the premises and buttered while still hot to preservethe texture. Bacon is very smokey and not too salty. Delicious! We shared an order of blueberry pancakes that were more likecrepes and served with butter and real Maple syrup. A sausage patty rounded out the order and was a savory locally producedaddition. The coffee was strong and just the right amount of bitter. When the weather is mild there is seating outside.Otherwise there is probably only seating for less than 20 inside. They had great prices and the ambience is super fun. Very small hole in the wall and laid back little neighborhood diner.... Unfortunately, there was a big event going on in the town and it was slammed and the only server was overwhelmed. The food wasdecent diner food. Read more
