Just fabulous! First off, they were kind enough to work in a late reservation for 9 on a Friday night for our out-of-town group. It was super busy but our waiter (and team) did not miss a beat. Drinks and appetizers were ordered and came out quickly. Appetizers were great! Then the main courses came out in a short time as well. We were celebrating a birthday so they lit the candles on our cake, sliced and plated it. I couldn't have been happier from beginning to end! Thanks Scossa team! How lucky Easton is.
This is fine dining at its best! Extremely well trained staff, delicious recipes, high quality ingredients, white tablecloths and all! Best calamari I've ever had!
The drinks were great.... the atmosphere was nice... the best part of the meal was the beginning(lovely salad) and the end (tasty Lemon Ice) the bad part was everything on all of our main plates were cold as ice. Now in all fairness, it was a large Rehearsal dinner party, but still....
Quality Italian cuisine. The branzino in lemon and caper sauce was outstanding. Wine selection is great and the pours were generous. A bit pricey but not without reason. Good spot for a special occasion.
Received a call from my son in law wanting to know if we would join him and my daughter at this fine establishment for her birthday celebration and I'm glad we did. This was our first time dining at Scossa and we were not disappointed. The hour plus drive was well worth it. As soon as I walked in I was impressed by the decor and welcoming atmosphere. Low lighting and candles burning really set the mood for the evening. The drink menu was great with a large selection of wine, various beer and mixed drinks and cocktails. The menu could have offered more variety but everything we had was excellent. For appetizers we had the best chilled shrimp and octopus as well as fried calamari. Simply delicious!!!! Our main course was a mix of lobster risotto and veal Parmigiano, all excellent. Desert was a wonderful cheese cake. This restaurant offers most traditional Italian cuisine as well as salads, soup and deserts. It really was well worth the trip and made for a very enjoyable evening with the family. I would highly recommend this restaurant for quality Italian cuisine and great atmosphere.
Very good service and ambiance. However some of the dishes lack the quality needed to match the names in the menu and prices. The spinach salad with gorgonzola, tomatoes, and pears had only 3 mini thin slices of pear and there was barely any flavor to it. The pasta with white sauce and ham was $18 but the portion seemed to be for a kids meal and the presentation was not impressive at all.
We had the rigatoni with veal Ragu and the spaghetti with veal meatballs. They were both excellent. Back again and did shared plates The pappardelle special was excellent. The ravioli was light and delicious. Service was impeccable.
Waiter was absolutely fantastic. We mentioned the type of wine we like and he brought out two samples, both of which fit our taste. Personally, I had a hard time finding something on the menu to eat because the menu on their website was not the same menu served. The menu served had quite a few items with veal in them, which I do not eat. I already had my entree picked based on their website's menu, but ended up with the risotto with butternut squash and shrimp. I'm not a fan of butternut squash but chose this risotto because the other one had something I would not eat and I can't remember what it is right now. However, my friend enjoyed the shrimp in the curry sauce with rice. Dessert was delicious. I had the lemon sorbet and my friend had the peach sorbet. This was only my second time at Scossa, and I will return.
One of the best reason to visit Easton is to experience Scossa Restaurant & Lounge. We offer a great time for people everywhere and our yummy pasta is the reason people keep coming back for more. If you'd like to ask us some questions or make a reservation call us at (410) 822-2202.
