Went here for our anniversary. As usual we had a wonderful experience. The food and service was first class. Without asking our... waitress brought us an assortment of pastries for our anniversary. Very nice touch to cap off a great dinner. There is no secretwhy this place is always crowded, call for a reservation....you won't be disappointed!!! Read more

Had a wedding rehearsals dinner here and it was fabulous. Service was professional, accurate, discrete even with all the people... moving around. The food was great. Loved the chocolate torte. Got a bit loud in the back room, maybe some more noise dampeningon the walls or ceiling would help? Read more

I’ve never left a bad review for a restaurant, but I guess there’s a first for everything. Growing up my stepfather owned an... Italian restaurant and I understand how difficult the business can be but this experience was awful. Three of the four of usordered the chicken parm (a good litmus test for any Italian restaurant) the chicken was so tough and freezer burnt itcouldn’t be cut with the butter knife provided. We ate the small portion of pasta and left the chicken on the plate as I wouldnever ask for a free meal or replacement. I did however assume the waitress would ask what was wrong so we could at minimum givesome feedback… nope I was wrong - nothing - “boxes or check”. Still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt I askedthe first person I could find to speak with a manager she politely said she would go find her. I waited for a few minutes onlyto have the same person come back and say “the manager said I can help you with whatever you need”. Clearly from managementto the cooks no one cares about quality or service there right now. The place has a great atmosphere and nice location foranyone traveling the Eastern Shore but someone needs to step in and care to correct the course. Read more

Had dinner at Scossa last night for the third time and have to say it is one of my favorite restaurants in all of MD. The menu,... service, food, cocktails, wines and ambiance are all top notch. Sitting on the patio in nice weather with a view of thehistoric Talbot County courthouse is amazing. Highly recommend making a reservation on weekends. ???? Read more

Good lord what has happened to my favorite restaurant in Easton? First, the Resturant was so loud and you could not have a... conversation at the dinner table without raising your voice. The service, without a doubt was atrocious. Staff walked by thetable, never cleared plates, and forgot to bring silverware ???? when they finally bussed the tables. The bread basket theytossed on the table was stale. The entree I had (veal) was so dry It was hard to chew (this was the same comment from others inthe group that had the veal). The only reason for two stars is for some of the seasoned staff we have known for a long time.Even though we were not in their section, they came over to check on us. Unless Scossa starts hiring staff that wants to bethere and understands that a restaurant is a service business, and the chef brings his A game, I’m afraid it may not last. It’s such a shame since we loved this place.
