We've been going to Nicolosi's for many years, but much less so over the last year since my wife switched jobs (she used to work right down the road). In the past it was usually good with the occasional miss. The pizza we got last night, however, was one of the worst pizzas we have ever had from any establishment. The worst part about it was the crust. The bottom was very limp/soggy and the entire crust was very tough and rubbery - so much so that my jaw was sore after eating 2 slices. Having worked in a pizza place all through college, my guess is that there was too much flour in the dough and/or they are pre-saucing them well in advance of sales during their busy times without oiling the dough first (just guessing though). Regardless, despite being longtime patrons, it will probably be awhile before we give them another chance after last night's major disappointment.
We were loyalists to Nicolosi's for a long time. However, over the last couple of months when we have ordered from them, we have been continuously disappointed. We had ordered a Margherita pie tonight, for example. The whole pie was over done. The crust was burnt on the bottom and the sauce was so dry that you literally couldn't even taste it. The cheese? What cheese? All we could taste is the bottom of the burnt pie. Maybe in the future we will go back to Nicolosis, but being continuously disappointed drove us to buying a pie from Colonial pizza from down in Easton on the same night.
Great food! Ordered one of the Flights I've been seeing all over Facebook with Knots and a Cheesesteak. It was all delicious! Only downfall is not being able to get delivery the past couple times I called ? Definitely worth picking up BUT I have a new born and toddler so would be a tad difficult ?
Dylan hooked us up with the most amazing pizza flight. We picked four flavors - sausage (andouille) and hot peppers, pepperoni, ham & pineapple, and his (amazing) version of taco pizza. OMG so good. I wish we had thought to take a picture before we devoured it.
Very rude staff. First time ordering and waited over one hour for delivery for pizza. Called to see where pizza was and they wrote down wrong number to get in contact with. So driver left. Driver wasn?t smart enough to come to door and ask if pizza was ordered by anyone. Female got real nasty on the phone when I called back to see where the pizza was. they are the ones that took down wrong phone number. Won?t ever get my business again. The young female that answered the phone better shape up her attitude. To respond to your statement the correct phone number was given. I?m pretty sure i know my phoNe number since it?s the same number I?ve had for the last 15 years. And I spoke with the front desk just awhile ago and she told me she asked the driver for a a name and he didn?t even have that which was also given to you as well. So I guess your gonna tell me i don?t know my name either and I didnt give the correct info for that. He left right out the front lobby within less than a minute. So next time maybe y?all should repeat the order and phone number just to make sure. I have never had a issue ordering from anywhere. And it could have all just been a misunderstanding and not proper communication on both ends. But you still need to show professionalism and not have attitude either. So you need to check the pizza girls attitude that answers the phone. And if she wasn?t so rude I would have been nice and came and picked up the pizza. Because nobody is perfect And I really wanted to try you guys out. But since she was nasty y?all can keep the pizza. Toodles!!!! Ohhh and by the way cheers to you as well.
Visiting the area & ordered via Doordash. Wings were a tad pricey BUT I really REALLY enjoyed them and it's hard to impress me with wings as I have a preferred taste! Wish you were located in my city because you would get my business weekly! ??????
Always great food made with fresh ingredients! Jason and his crew at Nicolosi?s actually cares about the quality of the food they serve and it shows in every bite. I highly recommend the German Pie it?s amazing!
Wow! Jay, you?ve outdone yourself once again. Back in town for the holidays, and had to get the classic ?Cali? cheesesteak. So darn good! I will definitely be coming back over the holidays. The staff was so friendly and welcomed me with open arms! You guys rock!
