It's the end of an era. ???? It all started in college and had become a yearly tradition since probably 2006- meeting in EC to... watch a Packer game at Court 'n' House with family for the camaraderie, delicious burgers, pull tabs and jello shots when thePack scored, and halftime complimentary spread (which actually started as a potluck in the early years). With the new ownership,it'll no longer be our go-to meeting spot, as all of the fun is gone. Pros: The burgers taste very close to the same as always, with the exception of a few of us at the table getting bites of a lot of spice/peppery taste. They still have popcorn! Cons:Very inflated prices compared to before (Yes, I'm aware of inflation and post-COVID prices, but the menu was just sad- not thehole in the wall we're used to). The new burger menu is also lacking- no more doubles ($4 extra if you want one) and an upchargefor every type of topping you could imagine. There also isn't an option for plain, bagged (included) chips with a burger likebefore. Overall, I just wish the new owners hadn't tried to fix what wasn't broken. They take cards now (and even have awebsite), and maybe those contribute to increased costs, but paying cash was just one of those things that everyone knew about. Read more

Everything we had was very good deep fried mushrooms, cheese curds, chicken strips, burgers and waffle fries! But very slow to... get our main dinner because it was packed in there! Our waiter was excellent at checking in on us for drinks! Read more

The burgers always taste best on Thursday! BOGO Thursday on burgers and this has become my favorite burger place in Eau Claire.... I love that they always have a Sam Adams on tap and the Cali burgers are so good! Service is always amazing too! Read more

First thing first this is cash only which is a great move to keep cost low. Second part this is a dive bar which looks like a... good time to come hangout at night with some friends. The food and drinks are fair. The service is was great. The burger wasgreat had great flavor and was not burnt. The chicken strips and fries were fried fresh. I would definitely recommend this placeif you want a place where the locals eat and hangout. Read more

Consistently voted one of the best burgers in the valley and rightly so. Thursday's are 2/1 burger night so was busy. I arrived... near the end of the dinner rush. My waitress was friendly, bring my drink quickly and, did several "table touches" while I wasthere. Even told me proactively that I could get the second one to go. While the burgers did take a bit to arrive, it was wellworth the wait - perfectly cooked and juicy. This is good food not fast food. 2 great meals for under $20. Read more
