Interesting spot. Thought we were going for sushi and then realized they didn?t have any. Hibachi was good. Server prompt and... friendly. Overall a fine experience. Nothing exciting but pleasant. Prices slightly high for what you get. Spent $200 on dinnerand drinks for 2 and left still kinda hungry. Recommended for a nice occasion such as birthday, anniversary, etc. Read more
This place was simple and cute all the way from the exterior to the fish kite banners on the wall to the privacy cloths hung in... between each room. As for food, I can only speak for the ramen this time, but both the spicy shoyu and tonkatsu shio weredelicious. The noodles were perfectly chewy and able to grab the thicc soup. The seasoned egg was delightful and creamy. Thechar siu seemed to be braised and then charred on the top. It melted so nicely in the mouth! Both broths tasted similar, but thespicy one was reminiscent of almost (just the tiniest bit) a curry broth because it was so thick, creamy and spicy. Overall, wewould definitely come again for the ramen. Plus, they seem to have a great cocktail/special drink selection as well as sake andbeer. So glad we stopped by before returning to Menomonie! A great place for a business meeting, a intimate date, or a entertaining night out with the family. The choices of ingredients,... dishes, and drinks are superb. The servers are very friendly and helpful in decision making for pickier people. The frontdisplays as a hidden gem but the interior is a vastly more vibrant and authentic experience waiting for you. I'd recommendhaving a reservation for weekend nights. Honestly blown away by the egg drop soup and house salad appetizers. Read more
