This place is awesome! Definitely order ahead because they are busy for good reason! I got a Double Brunch Burger and Maple... Sweet Potato Fries, and they are fantastic! The fries blew me away, massive quantity and quite possibly the best fries I've everhad. The double burger was the size of my head and honestly it won the battle. I cannot stress enough that the sheer quantity offood is outstanding, regardless of price. The people there, I think they were the owners, provide a warm and invitingatmosphere. They had a great sense of humor and really care about the quality they provide. The nice lady at the front is anabsolute sweetheart, and the chef clearly takes pride in his work. The food he makes issues you a challenge and I can't waituntil I overcome it! The location is a little confusing, but it's definitely worth going back. If they had a stand alonebuilding I could not imagine the amount of business they would have. Don't let the unusual building stop you, give them a trybecause you will certainly be impressed. Directions to get to the place: Go into the door with the big 8080 next to it. See the stairs on the right and go down... completely. Take the right and go straight until the wall. Take a right and go straight and you should reach there. Anyway thiswas my first time there and for the price, the portions were very generous, and the food was also very good as well. I hadgotten the Smokin BBQ burger and Fries with the house seasoning. Burger: It was very sizable considering that I had gotten onlya single. The bun was very soft and it basically looked like a picture perfect burger. There was a nice amount of cheese and thepickles inside the burger was great as well. The bacon was on the soft side for me, but it was still a really greatburger. Fries: These were hot. No really these were really hot. I dined in so I started eating when I had gotten there and thefries were definitely fresh out the fryer because after biting into a fry, my tongue felt very hot very quickly. The fries arecrinkle cut and air on the fluffy center and slightly crisp outside. If you really like crispy fries, I will say that its notthat. The fries were very well done however and the house seasoning was applied in a very generous amount as well. You know howcool ranch Doritos sometimes those few chips that are completely caked on with seasoning that taste considerably better than therest of the chips? Well the fries here are like that, but they aren't so completely over seasoned that all you can taste is saltand spices. I guess I forgot to mention that the portion that you get is absolutely massive as well. The box that it came in wasapproximately 7" x 7" x 1" and the box was completely packed. Delicious, Fabulous, Magnificent, Outstanding can?t say enough positive things about Smokin Hottdish! Picked up the Easter... dinner special dinner today, Advertised as feeding 8-10, however my family of 5 will get 3 meals with seconds. We lovedeverything, the brisket and glazed ham was amazing, the Mac & cheese was over the top, the dirty rice was a game changer, thefire cracker green beans- let?s just say my youngest daughter said Mine to the entire pan, and those honey butter biscuitsfinger licking! Food was really good. The portions were more than generous. The owners were so very friendly and nice. I would go back in a... heartbeat. Definitely keep an eye open for their specials. Not a criticism but make sure you have enough time to wait. They makeeverything fresh and to order so make allowances for that. But is so worth the wait. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwichand the sweet potato fries and could not finish both even though I hadn't eaten since the previous night. This is a place that is hard to find. And a must find. The duo that work here are amazing. Yet the food is better. Went... with my wife today and had the crab cake po boy. Wife had a chicken wrap. Also ordered tator tots with dill pickle seasoningwith a side of ranch. Everything was spot on. The po boy melted in my mouth as I ate it. The chipotle sauce on my wife?s wrapon so so good. Will try and make this a regular stop when we are in town. Want to try more of the seasonings they have tooffer. Another couple also was there at the same time for the first time and were blown away.
