What a find! Highly recommend this out of the way family owned restaurant....Christian. co-owner , greeted us and explained the menu! Excellent food!
We had a very tasty dinner here and they were able to accommodate our large party (12 people). Popular dishes with our group were the scallops and stuffed poblano pepper entrées. I had the shrimp empanado and it was so good! They have quite a few good beers on tap including local MN microbrews and the creme brulee for dessert and strong coffee were wonderful. Excellent prompt service as well.
Food was really good! Manager came over to talk about their gluten free precautions and prep areas. Menu was marked with GF items. Next time I need food in this area, I am coming here.
Enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Cahill Bistro. The house made sangrias were nice on a warm summer evening. Shared the brussel sprouts appetizer suggested by our server. Order the Lomo Saltado and Lobster Pasta for meals. Capped off the evening with the Crembrule. Food and service were excellent. We are outside but will sit inside on our next visit. And we will be back!
This place is a diamond in the rough. Inside an unimpressive facade is an amazing restaurant with amazing service. Very reasonable pricing in a staff that provides great service with a smile. The food was outstanding. Definitely going there again.
Ok, where to start. We happened across this as we were heading to breakfast, and boy are we sold. A wonderful South American family owned and operated, themed, menu-infused experience. Very upscale seating and table decorations. But it's all about the flavors (Eggs Benedict with lllapingacho awesome), and the customer service. The young family members serving us, being part of their family's enterprise, and the head chef/owner, all exhibited what customer service should be all about but is still hard to find. Simple example-we asked for orange juice, but they had run out. So they checked the store next door which didn't have any, found some oranges, and freshes squeezed some at their initiative...really??? We signed up for their valentine's night dinner, and we have added this bistro to our must be hangouts. Well done!! Followup - Valentine's Dinner there was beyond good. Best steak we've ever had. Service - when the whole owner family wished us well as we left, we felt we had just left their family's intimate gathering. That is how they make you feel here. How cool was that!
The folks who own this place treat everyone like family. When we arrived, they were getting ready to close, so we said we'd come back another time. They insisted we stay and let them cook for us. I love places like this. It's owned by three Ecuadorian brothers who came here a couple decades ago. Once here, they worked their ways up in separate restaurants, experiencing almost every role possible, before coming back together and deciding they'd learned enough to open their own place. Through their quality of food and service, their family-like disposition (the owners themselves sometimes even wait on you), the very reasonable prices, and even the nondescript location of the place all make Cahill Bistro a bonafide hidden gem worth checking out.
Great food and service. Hefty portions and flavors. Sabor! Really good Micheladas and a not too sweet Sangria. We were too full to try the desert but will come back another time for it. Locally sourced ingredients and beer options, run by charming, welcoming Equadorians. You'll be in a good mood after this meal. Outdoor seating available. Enjoy!
