First of all I would say that owner of this restaurant is a big liar. I pick up catering order form this restaurant. I ordered... gobi manchuria half tray. Taste is such a bad. Next day I take back his tray back to him and explain the same. He told me tosorry for that and said use the same amount next time dine in free. Hands down to one of the of the best Indian restaurants in Oklahoma. I?ve never been to Oklahoma and this was my first time... visiting. I felt like trying Indian food and decided to try out cafe 47. The experience was very exquisite, the staff there wasvery friendly, the food was the best part and the environment was very calm. I ordered the chicken biriyani and it was the bestfood I?ve ever tasted from a restaurant. Back in Florida we just have a plain biriyani with plain chicken without any masalainfused in it but here it was totally different. The biryani was like it was made from home and felt natural and did not lookartificial. I wish I would?ve gotten their recipe so I can make it at home. Read more
The service experience was not great. The workers were friendly, but their checkout system had a tip option so we assumed even... though it was counter service they would come check on us. Other than dropping off the food we did everything else- cleaning up,no water refills, getting our own napkins/utensils. Which is FINE, but why did they have that tip option up as you pay- if it'sjust counter service why are we tipping? Second, our food arrived in way too many to go containers at separate times. Myhusband got his food 15 minutes after us. We would have preferred to get our food together even if we had to wait. We were doneeating and he felt he needed to rush. It was just a little bizarre they did that. Third, the food had good flavor and it wasfresh, but small portions for the price. All three entrees were mostly sauce, with a small portion of meat. The naan was good,but for $4 extra we didn't get much. We won't be going back- their service model was too lacking for us and the food/value for$ wasn't exceptional enough to compensate for it.
