Shooby Doo caterered our 95 person wedding in July of 2022 and when I tell you that it was the best meal we?ve ever had at a... wedding, I sincerely mean it. Given I was the bride, you might be questioning my ability to make an impartial judgement on mywedding day, but almost every single one of our 95 guests commented on how outstanding every single part of the meal was. We hada family style meal that was just so elevated in the way it was played, served, prepared, etc. that it felt like you were diningat a 5-star restaurant. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff was just the loveliest group of people as well! We were so happy with went with Shooby Doo for our wedding caterer! We worked with Ariana who was so helpful with guiding us... through the whole process and super easy to communicate with. Shooby Doo helped us create an all-vegetarian menu for our weddingand was really flexible and helpful with finding a menu that would appeal to all our guests. They were very careful withtracking dietary restrictions and helped accommodate several guests with celiac by providing gluten free bread and adjustingsome menu items to make them gluten free. We had Shooby Doo cater our wedding & now I wish we could find some excuse to have them cater again. I'm still dreaming about... those ahi poke tacos and risotto bites! They are a little pricier compared to some of the other caterers we looked at, BUT,their food really is top-notch, the service is top-notch, *and* they provide alcohol & bartenders, which not all weddingcaterers do, and which really helped make the day stress-free. This was our 2nd time working with Shooby-Doo Catering for a wedding of 125+ guests. The menu options were so varied it was fun... to taste and choose, our selections were delicious and the presentation was lovely. Their events staff assists withcoordination of all details, clearly and quickly communicating back/forth. We just recently had Shooby Doo cater for our wedding. Let me tell you, it was absolutely incredible. When we began our search... for a caterer, we found Shooby Doo Catering, tried one meal with them, and decided we didn't need to look anywhere else. Theirfood is a delicate fusion of Asian and American cuisine and they manage to blend beautiful flavors together without making theirfood overly salty or overwhelming. While all the food was amazing, I have to point out a few items that we ordered. They have alarge menu but they were willing to customize the menu for us. Ahi Poke Taco | Shoyu sesame marinated sushi grade ahi tuna,Asian spicy slaw, crispy wonton shell, sriracha lime kewpie mayo, micro cilantro. This appetizer was AMAZING. I had it at theirpartner restaurant, Bar Dojo, and knew it would be a hit. Several guests consumed 3-4 of these before the meal came out. SearedScallops | jumbo U-10 scallops, caramelized, served with a lemon burre blanc* These scallops were huge and perfectly seasoned.They were handled with class and the chefs made sure that none of them were overcooked and rubbery. Absoluteperfection. Braised Pork Belly (GF, DF) | all-natural pork belly in honey lemon hoisin glaze, served with fresh scallions andpickled cucumber When we picked this dish, we didn't know what to expect. Surprisingly about a third of our guests chose thisdish over braised beef and scallops and my brother, who tried all the plates, chose this as his favorite. The pork belly was assmooth as butter and well balanced with the scallions and pickled cucumber. You cannot go wrong with if you go with them.Ariana, who I communicated with, went above and beyond and made sure everything went smoothly leading up to the event. You willnot be disappointed!
