When people say they had a ?life-changing? meal, I always scoffed. But Banzai has changed my mind? ???? The chicken teriyaki... bowl is to die for and, in my opinion, is infinitely better than other similar restaurants such as Edo (nasty plastic chicken),Kazoku (decent ramen), and Co Du Hue (Ok cost for amount). The tempura sauce was substituted with ginger sauce. It was sour and did not taste good. All the tables and chairs were sticky... and covered with smudges. Napkin holders had splatters of soy sauce. Basically, the cheap prices of the dishes matches the tasteof the food. Japanese mall food have better quality. Read more
If you are looking for quick Japanese food this place does well. I ordered a Bento Box and Katsu Curry. The Bento box was good... for its value but the Curry sauce in my other dish was a little bland. If you are looking for something to fulfill an itch fora good price it will work but if you are willing to spend the extra money you will probably be better served at anotherlocation. I also find that there is FAR to much plastic with takeout. I ordered Green onion cake for my mom it was in plasticwith an elastic band around it, my salad was in plastic with an elastic band, the sauces were in plastic ( more understandable )and the Bento box was in plastic.
