Pleasant Cafe located downtown edmonton. Italian focused and the coffee was Lavazza so it was pretty good. The pasta was pretty... good too. Will definitely be returning. Nice atmosphere aswell, very clean. Not overpriced like alot of other cafes. Read more
I have lived up the block for 8 years and have frequently come here for coffee to notice that the one Filipino girl has been... here long enough that she is feeling complacent. I seem to get an attitude just from that one girl whilst the rest have afriendly demeanor. I don't think I'll be back when she is working just to avoid to being treated like a second class citizen.I've tipped always except for when this individual works. She needs to know who pays the bills. The customers do. There is acoffee shop just a block away that I don't mind making it my go to. She had a smirk on her face when I voiced my displeasure toher colleague. Her colleague was very apologetic to me..so she noticed her attitude also. I stopped in to grab something quick to eat for lunch. The two staff who helped me were so friendly and offered a recommendation... on the pizza. They heated it up and sent me on my way. I was not expecting a lot, to be honest… It was quite possibly the bestpizza I have ever had.
