Started out a bit rough with the seats of the booth very dirty with crumbs but after bringing it to the hostess attention they... cleaned it up. The 2 menus we got were also quite sticky and dirty so hopefully they pay a bit more attention to that in thefuture. For the food we had the Malaysian curry bowl which was surprisingly good. It did have a bit of heat but as someone wholikes spicy I wouldn't call it that but very good regardless. The portion I thought was a bit small for $21 but for lunch it wasa perfect size. We also ordered the breakfast sandwich which was also very good. The eggs were not too runny and the bacon wasvery good. I love Local?s ambience. Chill place for a date or to have a meal with friends or family. The Mains menu could see more variety.... I ordered the enchiladas with blackened chicken which was a burst of flavour?very interesting. The drunken chicken was okay.Shrimp dumplings are a good bet too. For drinks I opted for Aperol Crush, which is a perfect summer drink. Service is quick andefficient. Went on a weekday for dinner. Read more
Update: we have been back twice since..and each time is amazing!!! We were there today and Kat served us. Great service and... amazing good. The atmosphere was wonderful ( we went around 1130ish). Has a pub feeling but like a nice one. Staff were 100%amazing. From the host to every waitress. Our drinks were always full. They have a wide selection of food to choose from.Seating is booths and tables. Sports playing on the TV with music that is just loud enough to hear it but you can always have aconversation. The food!!!!! The food was spot on. From presentation to taste... it had it all. The wait times were good andpricing is fair. We will be back. Portions were also really good!. Read more

Loved the food and atmosphere! The waitress was so kind and constantly on refills, which is rare. She knew the menu really well,... which was helpful as it was my first time at Local. They play sports games on the TV with the sound on, which is awesome if youlike football or hockey. The drunken chicken was delicious! I will definitely be returning to try more things on the menu.
