I?m visiting Edmonton from Ontario and I had the chance to visit Masala Wok on the 34th and I must say, I was pleasantly... surprised with such authentic taste. The delicious Crispy Baby Corn captured us with the real Taste of India! The spices theyused were perfect! My family enjoyed Chicken Lollipop and Hakka Noodles to their hearts content. Been coming here since 2013, then around 2017 or 2018 the quality of service started goin down, I still went because the food... was good so kudos to the chef, I believe the chef left n given the fact that the customer service was always a problem,encountered an issue with the food n the owner (younger female) at that time was a big b....since then (2019) I stopped goin.Yesterday decided to give it a shot again, nvm I wasted my money. Food was blend, no hard flavors in the mingle, Lakhmi Kaichicken, batter coating just came right off so felt like eating boiled chicken instead of fried. We ordered vegetarian samosa, they were dripping out oil. And also the pastry was uncooked from inside. Very bad don?t recommend... trying samosas. The paneer kathi roll filling was good but the outer wrap wasn?t properly cooked. Paneer pasanda wasn?t theoriginal pasanda curry it was more like shahi paneer. Ordered food today but totally disappointed...never had this experience...got chicken momos the filling not at all there.. order... chicken hot garlic noodles.. the chicken pieces in it soo hard to chew as if old stuff used.. Food temp of momos was cold! Didnot get the dip with them had to go and ask for it. Did not have a great experience.. today will need to reconsider for nextvisit. Read more
