I have been going to this coffee shop for years whenever I did shopping In Oliver Square area. On October 19th, I went in to get... a snack and a cup of coffee. I received excellent and very caring customer service from Des and Trisha. I found them veryprofessional, knowledgeable of their menu items, very fast in providing the requested items. I found the store is clean,washroom is very clean, Trish and Des were following all the pandemic related safety measures by wearing their masks, wipingthe tables, sweeping the floors between the customers. Unfortunately, I noticed 7 out of 10 times people ( local/global level)tend to take excellent customer service for granted or complain about things of no importance. I hope customers will take amoment to express their gratitude and appreciation despite their busy lives. I do congratulate all those who took time to writetheir sincere appreciation of this Second cup cafe'. I wish the manager, Des and Trish the best now and always. Read more
Let me tell you about my last 3 times at this location?keep in mind it?s not a complicated order at all. The beginning of the... end, day 1, service was slow with new staff that seemed very confused and not adequately trained. Took a long time to get myorder. Too long. I watched as they stumbled around making drinks. It was not busy either. Next day, same new staff, made mydrink wrong. I go back in and say it?s wrong, she makes it again after I waited in line (again)? and guess what ! Wrong again.Clearly she had no idea what she was doing. I then just ask for my money back, which I had to again wait for. It was about a 20+minute ordeal. Not acceptable. Last shot, I was the first one in, gave my order and watched as everyone else behind me getstheir drink first. Literally the last guy that ordered in that rush walked out right away with a drink. Love this location,great staff and coffee. My last 2 visits I ordered 2 maple walnut muffins ( my favorite) and both times they... were so stale they were not edible. Not sure why, they have always been so fresh before. Read more
