Had chacos last night. Al Pastor pork is excellent. They mix in some mango--very tasty. Had the chorizo and carne asada... chacos as well. Also, very good. Small dining area inside so can be hard to get a table at peak times. Have added more diningspace outside-awesome in nice weather! Very friendly staff. Read more
Taqueria Z has some great items in the menu for vegetarians, which I always appreciate. (Tacos with potatoes in them and grilled... veggies), and very good medium salsa! (I didn?t try mild, or hot.) The beans and rice are also very good! But it?s a tacoshack?either take it home, or sit outside. Outside in summer in St. Louis is usually too hot & humid, otherwise I?d give it fivestars, but only five or six people can sit inside, and they would be surrounded by the legs of people in line, and using wastebins to bus outside picnic tables. For the reasons of crowded, not enough seating, and we sat outside (85 & sunny) I left off astar. Good food, no place to eat it. Read more
Came here because of the rave reviews, but I'm not sure I'm tasting the same thing as everyone else. Food was extremely bland.... EVERYTHING needs salt. Why am I paying to season my own food? Today I learned to only order Mexican food from Mexican runestablishments. However, I have to give credit where credit is due and the chorizo taco hit. Only thing I've tried that worththe $3 + tax.
