We showed up on a Saturday around 645pm without a reservation (party of 4 adults) and were told the wait would be an hour. We... were fine with that and got a drink at the bar. The bartender was fantastic. The hostess had a bit of an attitude. We got seatedan hour later and ordered our food right away. An hour later our food arrived. It was warm and good but very late. Therestaurant was not very busy. We would have gotten dessert but we?re sick of waiting so long we paid and left. Not sure id beback considering how long it took to get the food. Ignore the haters. Likely they are from Illinois and impatient after their long drive from hell to paradise. 5 star cherry BBQ... ribs, succulent lobster, fantastic ribeye and the DC new fashioned and DC side car drinks were incredible. Oh, and the servicewas great. Let the haters hate! Read more
The food was great cherry barbecued ribs, broiled haddock, walleye and cherry barbecue glazed salmon. One if not the best... settings in Door County! We were served in a timely fashion. It was an enjoyable dining experience! Read more

Good place, great view from the dining room. Old Fashions were well made. I had the ribs and my wife had the baked haddock both... were good. Flourless chocolate torte cake was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our food was brought out in areasonable amount of time and was hot. Seen lots of negative reviews on this place but we had nothing but a positiveexperience. If I had anything negative it was that the food is a little pricey for what you get, but these days what's not?Overall I recommend and would return to try more items on the menu given the chance.
