I ate breakfast here this morning and the service was horrible! We had to keep looking for the waitress because she was on her... phone! Then when the bill comes and things get WORST! They changed $2.50 for 1 slice of cheese added to my eggs! Then charged aEXTRA $6 for pumpkin pancakes! Mind you she never mentioned any of these EXTRA charges. So my $9.99 meal turns to almost $19! I?m not sure when this restaurant went under new ownership, but the new owner is doing a wonderful job managing the restaurant.... The restaurant was clean, our server Christina was VERY friendly, and we enjoyed ourselves a good old Jersey style dinerbreakfast. We were even accommodated when we asked to add gyro meat to our Greek omelette. YUM! Is it a world class restaurant?No. But, were we grateful and our taste buds satisfied? Yes! Under a thin veneer just a below average breakfast. Ordered corn beef hash potatoes and eggs. Asked for well done on the hash... and taters and over medium on the eggs. When the plate arrived it looked good from the top with its thin layer of well doneness.Under the top where tasteless non well done potatoes and hash. The hash came from a can and had zero onions peppers or taste.The potatoes came out of a bag pre cut and were barely seasoned. One and done for me, I would never give it another chance withsuch little effort made my the establishment. Eating out is too expensive these days. Wanted to stop for breakfast and found this diner. Fast efficient staff, very nice inside. Menu is full of classic diner... favorites. Food came out quickly and was good. Pancakes were a little floury tasting. Booths were tight. The seats are so closeto the table so if you are larger, you should ask for a table. Read more
