I had signed up for their emails and got an offer of a free app for my birthday week, so headed here for an excellent meal! The... warm buns with their cinnamon butter should come with a caution sign because once you have one, you can’t stop! Didn’t needthe free onion bloom, which was good, not greasy, and we switched the dip to Ranch. Salads great, preferred the tossed as wasfilled with extras like cheese, egg, tomato. No judgment but we ordered our steaks fully smothered, with cheese, onion,mushrooms and brown gravy. AWESOME. I only gave this location 5 stars because 10 stars isn't available. I arrived as the restaurant opened and was greeted with a... friendly smile and seated immediately. My steak was cooked to perfection and the waitress made suggestions that complimented mydinner perfectly. One of the managers stopped at my table to verify that everything was to my liking (something I usually haveto request from most restaurants). The waitress stopped by, not too often but often enough that I wouldn't have had to wait toolong if there was something I wanted. When I was finished, all the staff that I saw told me to "Have a good day". I was veryhappy with my meal, the price and the service. The Ambiance was nice, the steak was nice and tender, however it tasted like kerosene. Not only my meal tasted like kerosene but... everybody at my table, we did realize that a manager had come over to us quite quickly and asked how everything was butunfortunately we were too polite to mention the fact that our food tasted like kerosene, I did notice that it was quite crowdedin there and that seemed like they were doing a good business. I am wondering if there was an issue where they had to restart agrill or something when our meal was prepared I will give them the benefit of the doubt oh, but that literally left a bad tastein my mouth. My best friend and I visited this location for dinner tonight. The place was literally hopping at 6:30pm when we arrived. We... were promptly seated with no wait. Our waiter's name was Mohammed and he was both attentive and accommodating. Our meal startedwith a piping hot salty/crunchy GBD fried pickles and a lemon pepper grilled shrimp atop a butter fried roll. The shrimp werebarely warm and arrived just minutes after we ordered. Still... they were extremely tasty so we ate them. My friend ordered arib and loaded fry appetizer. Hers arrived the same way, barely warm. The staff quickly refired the dish and brought her an evenlarger portion than she had ordered. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and slathered with a delicious BBQ sauce. Theaccompanying fries were forgettable but truth be told, it was not something I normally enjoy anyway. I ordered the friedcatfish. This item had recently gone back on the menu and it was outstanding. I received 4 very large catfish fillets that werefried perfectly in a cornmeal exterior. The fillets were snow white inside as well as flaky and juicy. They came with a niceside of remoulad and two vegetables. The mashed potatoes are fresh, piping hot and fluffy and the green beans were chock fullof smoked pork, ham hock? I could have drained the bowl like it was soup, totally delicious. This restaurant was clean, had asuper friendly staff and corrected their errors. The food always came out fast and we will definitely come back. Very goodexperience over all. Read more
