I have to start out by saying this course is AMAZING.. it?s always in great shape and one of the best courses for the money. The... ONLY reason this course doesn?t get 5 stars is because of the unprofessionalism and blatant rudeness of one of the Marshals.Played there twice and had the same issue with him both times. Just a heads up that if you play here and this guy is working, hewill constantly hound you and tell you that you?re playing too slow. Our foursome didn?t see a single group behind us all dayand yet the starter came up to us 3+ times complaining about how slow we were playing and how we were ?setting up everyone elseto play slow too?. We would be more than understanding if there were groups behind us waiting but that wasn?t the case. The guyobviously doesn?t understand of pace of play works.. not the brightest tool in the shed for sure, but is making the place lookbad by being disrespectful to paying customers. Just a shame that you pay money for a nice round of golf and this guy makes youfeel like an inconvenience. Hope TD gets rid of him for the sake of a welcoming experience for golfers. Read more

Twisted Dunes is a terrific golf course. One of my top three favorites overall and my favorite at the shore. It's a great... layout, always in good shape, very nice staff, and a good challenge for golfers of all levels. There are already tons ofdescriptions here so I won't repeat them all, but I just want to say thanks to all the staff for making it a great place to comeand play a round of golf and to encourage anyone to try it out if they've never played it. This is a very nice and challenging course. Deep bunkers, sculpted landscape, strategically placed water with difficult pin... placements. Just enough shade to park the cart in. One very major complaint I have is that the cups (the holes themselves) werein absolutely awful shape. So much so that it made them noticeably smaller. Comparable to a poorly kept pitch & putt course.They need to cut/place their pins much more often or maintain them better somehow. For the money to play here, not acceptable. Iwould've given 4 stars but the cups were really that bad. Read more

Wow there just aren't enough stars for this course and their people. My wife and I try to knock out a different state to play in... and this course was number 9 and from the moment we stepped foot on the property it quickly rose to the top of our list. It wasa wet though only sprinkles a couple of times when we were on the course but obviously they had some storms. It played like atrue Scottish links course. Cart path only but the cart paths were an incredible part of the course. We truly enjoyed thechallenge and beauty of twisted dunes. We don't weekly pay the cost of the green fees but this course is really worth everycent. The facilities were really awesome that gave us a great warm up before our round. But probably most importantly thank youto ALL the staff the most friendly,knowledgeable and just great people from the girls that checked us in so adorable to one ofthe nicest people ever in the starter cart guys so helpful guy in the clubhouse after just being so cool clubs wiped down at theend and a great cool beautiful club dog. 100% first class. Everyone make a tee time experience this amazing club it truly livesup to what you hope it would be. Thanks to all at twisted dunes for making our birthday anniversary trip so special. Lovely golf course with superb variety of holes. Be prepared to lose a few balls though as fairways are tight and if you miss... the short stuff you may struggle to find your ball. Starter and buggy staff were friendly but cannot say the same about in theshop/main desk. Worth a visit for a round of golf though! Read more
