I called in an order since I was passing through. They happily made it and held it until I arrived. The hatch chili curry was... delicious. I would happily stop here again. What a gem of a place!! Read more
Really disappointed. Used to like this place but service and food quality have gone downhill. Out of the last 3 times I've been... here, 2 of those times the exact same things happened: 1) There was a hair in the food, literally baked into the empanada, sogross (last time it was in the curry), 2) Server forgot someone's order (last time they gave someone chicken curry when theyordered tofu). 3) Food was not as flavorful as it used to be, beans on nachos were burnt, bread was stale. This time the servicewas much worse though, not only was there hair in the food and the server forgot an order, but neither of those items werediscounted or taken off the check. I worked in the service industry for over a decade and that's as basic as it gets. If youmess up or the kitchen does, you do your best to make it right. My friend's food did not hit the table until after everyone elsewas done eating. The last time this happened at least the server or manager took the items off the check. Server also chargedthe wrong cards for 2/3 of our split checks ($14 check vs $39 check), but worse than that she initially gave me one itemizedreceipt for $39 dollars, it was missing my drink and the deserts we ordered, so I thought "great, at least they took care ofthat." But then when she recharged the cards correctly and brought me the receipt to sign, it was for $56 and she did not tellme she was charging me more or provide a new itemized receipt. Another basic thing, you do not charge someone's card for anamount you have not told them or provided them a receipt for! To put things in perspective it was the end of the night and wewere the only table this server had. It would be more understandable if it was busy and she was in the weeds. Great spot for a date! Various seating options outside with a bit of privacy, nice environment inside as well (bit more... open).The waiter was great and very attentive - I don't think I ever got down to half a glass of water. I had my first 'LondonFog' here - sweet but good. Pretzel bites also good. Would get both again. Read more
First time eating here and the food was good but I felt like I was being watched b/c I was black. There were customers in the... establishment sitting at the bar when I arrived but once I came in and sat down they went out on the patio. Once I left out therestaurant those same customers went back in the establishment and sat at the bar. I felt like I was being watched while I atemy food. Mind you I did leave the waiter a good tip. Not once did he come back to ask me did I need anything else after I paid.I felt like he was only waiting on me b/c he had no other choice. The other girl or waitress didn?t even look my way. If you areblack I don?t recommend eating here, I felt very uncomfortable. Will not be returning! They didn?t even say goodbye!Discrimination is what I felt. Also I?m sitting in there parking lot as I leave this review . Oh yea asked for a bag for my leftovers and he brought me an Albertsons plastic bag. Read more

In what world do you call these nachos chilaquiles? I ordered the red chilaquiles with chicken and received a plate of wannabe... nachos, except there was no cheese on them. There was also a lack of red sauce on them. The beans seasoning made them tastelike they were from a can. I left 90% of my food on the plate and when the server came by she just asked if she can take theplate out of the way. Anyone with a pair of eyes and common sense could see I was dissatisfied with the food and would haveoffered to make things right. My girlfriend had the Menudont, and she should have listened to the plate name... it is a definiteDON'T!!! The broth was a watered down red sauce with lack of flavor. Definitely menuDONT COME HERE!!!
