The food was great our server Misty was amazing. My steak was cooked to perfection was told the person who made my steak was... Isiah. Coming here, you will have to wait and it will be chilly in here. Ordered a steak and it was well cooked. Maybe needed a... slight bit more seasoning but it didn't last long on the plate. I liked the coleslaw. Combined with the pineapple gives it anice refreshing flavor to it that makes it pop. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good. My Arnold Palmer was average, it neededmore sweetness. Bounced around between two waiters, the male waiter was quick but seemed annoyed as the night went on. I'm amilitary member and showed my id plus it was my birthday, but it was just made to be an ordinary day. The food is good andkinda high, but you will leave with a full stomach thanks to the big portions. I would come back. Second time around and thefood was even better. My steak was pure awesomeness. The season and color was on point and the best steak that I've had. Thecoleslaw was exceptional. The only downside was the mango peach tea and the steak fries. The tea wasn't that good and had anodd aftertaste due to the mango and was lacking in peach and sweetness. The fries were just off for some reason but overall therestaurant is one of the best around. I started going to El Paso in 2003, then annually until 2017. We brought groups of up to 40 or more here (with reservations) and... the service was always top notch! Dave Ogle is such a nice guy and his team is easy to work with (groups). It?s been a few yearsand I truly miss this place for great food and service. ((David, I miss YOU, too. You?re a good man)). Food was good, service was slow, even with a half filled restaurant. I got the tempiquena steakburger with onion rings and a... friend got the chile relleno steakburger and we had half of each. Both tasted good but seemed lite on the seasoning. Verygenerous portion size for the sides, even in the kids meals. Read more

The food is fine. Service is slow and not very attentive, yes short staffed, fine. Really, I'm indifferent about this place.... The only reason I keep coming back is the coleslaw. Without that, this place would crash and burn. I don't even think the steakburger is all that great, it's just hype. But the coleslaw... yeah. Without the coleslaw, this place would be a 2 star at best. Read more
